In many ways, The Other Sherlock Holmes is a very typical Holmesian mystery; there is a murder to solve and a dangerous conspiracy to expose and neutralize. Also, it will be the ‘real’ Holmes who will save the day—and the other Sherlock’s life as well in the process. However, this story is not exactly the usual pastiche; in it, you will find elements of mythology, fantasy, and science-fiction, as well as surrealism, and even metafiction.
